Matthew 1

3. Quite often, when people read Matthew 1, they skim through the names at the beginning. Why do you think Matthew may have decided to include all of these names?
4. Before Mary and Joseph were married, and before they had come together, Mary was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. Joseph initially planned to leave her, but an angel of the Lord explained the situation, so he changed his mind. How do you think Mary likely felt to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit?
