I am frequently asked, "how do you start writing?"  My answer is always, "just start writing."  I am realizing that this may be easier for some than others.  If I have a pen, paper, and some time, I just spontaneously start writing.  Even if I don't have pen or paper, I usually have my phone, so I type in the notes app.  It comes naturally for me, but others may need some help getting their start. 

This book has introductory information about setting goals, identifying the audience, and  developing the author's voice.  Then it discusses the different types of writing and points-of-view.  The majority of the book consists of thought-provoking writing prompts to encourage aspiring writers to
